The vice president of finance at Steinhof Ben Le Grange said Wednesday that he is helping the authorities in investigations of $ 100 billion plus the South African retailer's account scandals.

La Grange is one of eight people named in an investigation into what independent auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said was a complex program in which intercompany transactions were mistakenly recorded as external income to support profits and hide costs in low-cost subsidiaries.

He said on Wednesday he was cooperating with all the government ministries.

La Grange was suspended last August but remained on Steinhoff's salary as a consultant.

Steinhoff was summoned to provide the Financial Behavior and Financial Sector (FSCA) with the full report he received from the PwC audit firm on fraud and corruption that led the company's incoming stock to fall free almost a year and a half ago.

Steinhof has so far published an 11-page summary of a 3,000-plus report and did not mention the previous managers involved.

Speaking before the Standing Committees of the Parliament on finances and public accounts, together with two other committees on Tuesday, CEO Louis Steinhoff Chairman of the Board Chairman of the Board of Directors of Heatherson would appeal this decision and ordered names and names, which Du Preez then did.

Du Paris said that the summons of the FSCA to produce the PwC report was received on Tuesday morning.

"While we were sitting here the FSCA issued a subpoena, so I will take legal advice and we will deal with it.We are here to cooperate," he said.
