"The South Africans do not scare us," says Captain Nigeria Ahmed Musa

He adds that the players are calm and need only the point of their final two tests to get a berth in the final in Cameroon next year. Even a defeat for Baffana will leave them with a home game against Seychelles where they can book their transfer.

"We are not under any pressure because we are confident of the qualification and qualification of the 2019 African Nations Cup.

"As a team, we are united and play together, it's the most important thing in football, we know them very well, just as they know us."

Nigeria are now in full force after the late arrival of the France-based contact Samuel Kalu, reported because of problems securing a visa for SA.

Coach Gernot Rohr says his side will go to achieve the AFCON qualification, which does not necessarily mean they will be pushed hard to win, with only a point required to secure their place in Cameroon.
