Two weeks after breaking the marathon record of the two cities in his first appearance, Clovis College & The cross-national coach CJ Albertson did the same at the third annual Bakersfield Marathon on Sunday (November 18).
25-year-old Albertson held Mohammed Tamam Hussein to break the Mark Bakersfield marathon in 2 hours, 19 minutes, 45.3 seconds.
Tam Hussein, 28, finished second close at 2: 19: 58.9.
The Old Mark – 2: 30: 04.0 – edited by Angel Alcantar of Pacoima. This year, Alcantar finished third in 2: 36: 00.4.
In a short conversation at middle school at the CIF Middle School meeting, Albertson noted that he would not be going on record after clocking 2:17:40 on November 4.
Albertson, who ran alone after the opening of the Perso marathon and finished almost 25 minutes before the finals, was next to the Ethiopian runner through a semi-marathon on Sunday.
The winner raised a prize of $ 750.
The marathon began and ended at Cal State Bakersfield and made its way to Bakersfield College and back.
McFarland Galvin Gonzalez, 41, was fourth in 2: 44: 43.4.
The winner of the women was Gisele Schaaf of Lakewood at 3: 02: 39.1. She was 11 in number.
Bakersfield's half-marathon race drew about 250 marathon runners.
