Xiaomi began installing Android 9.0 Pie on the Mi2 A2 via OTA in India, after Motorola did the same for its one day power in India. The new update for Mi A2 users comes with features recently unveiled by Google in Vanilla's latest Android version. However, it appears that the update concerns a limited number of devices today. Some A2 Mi users will have to wait a bit.

The update size is over 1GB and brings with it some very interesting features like Gestures for device navigation, custom brightness and better battery management, Google Slices, App Actions, Accessibility Menu and New Shortcut for easy screen. In addition to the above, the update will be secured with November security patches.

To remember, Xiaomi Mi A2 is one of the one Android devices. This time the company provides the update according to schedule, as opposed to last year. Last year the update for Mi1 failed to meet the update schedule of the device.

Previously, Xiaomi had problems with bugs on its One Android devices. For example, when upgrading the Xiaomi Mi A1 company had to stop upgrading Android Oreo twice. In addition, many Mi A2 users complained about their low battery performance battery as well as the performance of the fingerprint reader. It is hoped that this time Xiaomi will be able to provide its customers with a version of Android pie without problems.
