CPD raises funds in November

According to Stig & # 39;

Cockville police officers will be sporting old people this month for a "No Shave November" campaign to help raise money for cancer and awareness.

"Our department is honored to join the fight against cancer by allowing our officers to grow old people for November, all while enjoying the process, "said Randy Evans.

So far this month, CPD has raised $ 2,771.

The campaign has one goal.

"The goal of No-Shave in November is to increase awareness by adopting our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and let it grow wild and free," according to the No-Shave website in November. "Contribute the money you usually spend on shaving and grooming to educate on cancer prevention, save lives, and help those fighting the battle."

The No-Shave campaign in November is around six years, raising $ 3.5 million to fight the disease by spreading awareness and using funds for research.

"There is a good chance that someone you know has been hit by cancer, almost half of the diagnosis and death can be prevented, anyone can join our team and commit to November-November by clicking on the link provided in the post," he said.
