University of Inha and NASA's Solar Sail Testing Core Technology Discussion: A 100-year-old bridge companion economy

Inha University is pushing joint research with NASA and NASA NASA.

Inha University will visit NASA and NASA earlier this month to review the progress of joint research on solar battery testing technology, while Professor I-IST and professors belonging to GRDC, on the 18th day.

Next month, NASA representatives will visit Inha University to discuss specific directions for joint research.

The Langley Institute was attended by 10 people, including Dr. Robert Bryant, Dr. Sang Chu, Robert Mozes, Dr. Keith Belloyen, Graupner Kimberly, Faye and Dr.

In particular, they focused on technologies that allow the spread of more than 400 million films, which is the core technology of solar battery testing, which is only 1/10 of the hair (less than 3) thickness, and development of space materials that can withstand extreme space environments.

A solar sail test can accelerate up to 30% of the beam using a space that uses the radiation pressure produced by the photons emitted by the sun.

Theoretically, for three weeks, you can fly from Earth to Mars, which is called a test dream.

Next month, Dr. Robert Moses, who is in charge of developing a manned space system for moon research and Mars exploration, personally visits Inha University.

Kimberly, director of NASA's technology transfer department, will visit Korea early next year to discuss the L2M program, which will introduce and develop NASA's technology jointly.

Inha University is expected to launch the program from the beginning of next year once it agrees to conduct a master's degree exchange program with the National Institute of Space (NIA), the Langley Institute Agreement.

NIA is a coalition of eight universities, including Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, prestigious universities in the United States.

Inha University is working on the Helios Project, an agreement reached between NASA's Langley Institute last March and the Space Law Treaty (SAA), a private agreement that allows NASA to participate in space research.

In April of that year, IST-NASA established the International Center for the Study of Joint Exploration and Space Exploration,

"IST-NASA's International Space Research Center will explore and develop the core technologies of the next generation next-generation Solar Sail space through joint research with NASA," said Professor Kim Jong-hyung, – IST – he said.
