Christie's auction for sale in Geneva next week will include 19-carat rare diamonds expected to produce up to $ 50 million.

According to Christie's auction house, the rectangular diamond is the largest pink diamond ever sold. The diamond, known as the Pink Heritage, belongs to the Oppenheimer family, which for a long time dominated De Beers, which held the world diamond industry until the late 1950s.

Despite the price tag $ 30-50 million, Christie expects to attract private buyers from Asia. One of the outstanding features of this bright pink diamond is the rectangular, which is usually used with white diamonds, making it unique.

In recent years, colored diamonds have become very popular as the prices of precious stones in blue and pink are breaking record at auctions.
