Using the latest technology, AN-Face, Orange County, an animation company based in Malaysia has revived the legendary Tamil MGR player in the two-hour "two-hour film" in digital 3D mode, to be released from Hyderabad, next month.
The digital company used artificial intelligence to define its facial expressions and mannerisms which made it a legend in the Indian film industry.
The film is based on stills, advertising images, and films featuring the actor, who later became Tamil Nado's chief minister.
The official release will take place in the 4th edition of the Indywood Film Carnival to be held at Ramoji Film City from December 1 to 4.
The carnival film is the fruit of Keralite's initiative, Roy Sohan, a marine engineer by profession and operates outside Dubai.
The Malaysian company has been working with Hollywood specialist VFX for the past two years to create this.
