Peso retreated against the dollar; BMV loses pressure on América Móvil Forbes México


Peso depreciates this morning, after a previous down payment by the dollar's retreat.

After publication of the report Mexico's economy fell 0.2% in the first quarter of the year, the currency traded at 19.0398 per dollar, with a loss of 0.12% compared to the price of closing Monday.

Meanwhile, the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) lost its first actions this Tuesday with what spin seven meetings the downside, under pressure from giant media stocks América Móvil that evening presented its first quarter report.

The S & P / BMV IPC Index, comprised of the 35 most liquid companies on the market, fell 0.87% to 44,566.95 points at 9:10.

Amrica Móvil fell 5.14% to 14.04 pesos.

The company reported on Monday that its profits grew 3.6% in the first quarter compared to the corresponding quarter last year, and amounted to 3.1%, due to the devaluation in most of its currencies against the Mexican peso.
