In a ceremony held in Rabat on this occasion, Health Minister Anas Doukali presented the measures taken by this department in this regard, noting that this operation was aimed at 28 districts in 7 regions to ensure better treatment of people living in remote areas through local health services and strengthening services Basic health, prevention and awareness provided in health centers.

This action is also intended to increase the activity of the mobile medical units at the points of contact of the identified residents in these areas and to ensure the coverage of the identified cases through the special medical convoys and the special hospitals established in this manner. To ensure the handling of urgent cases, the Minister noted.

In order to carry out this action, steps were taken to ensure the availability of human resources, equipment and means of transportation in the 360 ​​medical centers that are transferred to the areas involved in receiving and treating patients. , With the aim of carrying out 4,248 visits to the field by mobile medical units, he explained.

In addition, 163 special medical caravans will be organized, in addition to the establishment of a system of coordination between the mobile medical units, the regional emergency system and the caravans, with the possibility of using the helicopter when necessary.

It will also continue to designate the referral health institutions, the establishment of a reference system and counter-references in the targeted districts, mobilizing a mobile hospital and establishing coordination mechanisms with partners in concerned health centers, Doukkali reported.

He assured that in order to achieve the expected objectives, the firm will recruit 2,478 medical professionals from medical and administrative as well as biomedical equipment, namely ultrasound, mobile medical analysis laboratories, dental chairs and equipment for measuring visual acuity. The means of transportation will be supported by medical units and mobile ambulances, as well as the possibility of transporting helicopters when necessary.

And to conclude that the firm has devoted an extraordinary budget of DH 5 million to DH 800,000 medical supplies and equipment to cover fuel and maintenance needs of mobility units.

This action will focus on the provinces of Chechnya, Ouarzazate, Ouassana and Al-Husaymah (Tanger-Titwan-Al-Husayma), Figuio, Taurira, Darioch, Wagga – Anad, Rada and Guarisif (Mizrachi), Bene Mellal, Azilal and Hanifra (Beni Mandel, Erzazate, Tinghir, Zagora and Arachidia, Bulamana, Book, Iperine, Taza and Tauneta (Pass-Meknes), Tarudanta, Ait Baha and Tata (Haouz, Chichaoua (Marrakech-Safi)).
