Prefer tea or coffee? Our genes determine our preferences – culinary


"The study is based on a very large number to show that the perception of bitterness affects the consumption of tea or coffee," said Daniel Liang-Dar Hwang of the University of Brisbane, co-author of the study.

The study is based on genetic data of about 438,000 Britons who participated in the study. It is not only generalizable to other countries and cultures, the authors say.
