DURBAN – Orlando Pirates Coach, Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic likes a player who has the confidence to show their skills, unlike most foreign coaches.
Foreign coaches have been criticized in the past for limiting the freedom of players to express themselves, but Serbian tactician does not appear on this list.
The pirates used the style on Saturday after gaining a better lead over Amazolo to reach the semifinals of the Telkom Telecom at the Moshe Abkhida Stadium in Durban.
The Buccaneers cost as much as 3-1 winners courtesy of the brace from Thembinkosi Loretz and a single strike by Xola Mlambo. Bungi-free concentrated the only goal for Aussie.
The likes of Thabo Qalinge and Mlambo started showboating after taking advantage of both goal and extra time.
Sredojevic, made it clear to the media after the game that he does not care about his entertaining players and supporters.
"You need to understand something, football is played for supporters," Sredojevic said. "We are here to serve them, and last year we cured their souls, this year we want to feed.
"When something like this comes to the team effort (no problem), it was not an intention to disrespect the opponent, it was an intention to excite our supporters and thank them for the support they gave us."
Pirates are on a roll. They are unbeaten in their last game of nine in all their fans' competitions and are happy.
"We want them (our supporters) to return to their homes happy because life is not a bed of roses." In all the bitterness of their lives we want (for them to enjoy) some sweetness and that is exactly what happened.
I have complete respect for AmaZulu Cavin Johnson and his team. The best way to keep holding is to keep the ball, and we tried to end protect (by keeping the hold), "Sredojevic said.
His team wins, scoring goals and a well structured football game, but Sredojevic needs to back it up with some silverware.

Those who support him speak have suffered stormy times in the last four years. They even forgot how to taste success.
Fortunately for believers in Buccaneers, Sredojevic is aware of the importance of ending the Cup drought in the teller.
"As for the importance of this trophy, any match or any trophy in Orlando Pirates (colors) is the most important game in our lives and so we approach it.As we speak support returning home happy after winning.Take them the foundations of happiness.
It is now history and every focus is on Polokwane City on Tuesday. We play against a competitive team. (Rodney Ramagale) and a friend. We look forward to a tough match and this is our focus now, "explained Sredojevic.
