VLADIVOSTOK, November 7. The Tass. Andrey Ishchenko, Deputy Legislative Council of Primorski Krai, the governor's candidate for Primorye in the September elections, filed documents for election elections for new elections for the head of the region, TASS Secretary Natalia Kamaeva said TASS.
"Today, Andrei Ischenko has applied to the commission as a self-candidate," said Kamaeva.
Now, like the rest of the independent candidates, he will collect about 7,000 signatures with the support of residents of Primoria, as well as 140 signatures of deputies of municipal representative bodies (municipal filter).
Receipt of documents from the candidates for participation in the elections of the governor of the region began on 26 October and ends on 18 November. Previously, the documents were filed by 17 people. Among them are seven independent candidates, including Game Acting Governor Oleg Kozhemyako. The rest are representatives of parties such as LDPR, the Union of Citizens, for the Women of Russia, the Growth Party, the Patriots of Russia, the Democratic Party of Russia, the Communist Party of Social Justice, the Greens, and the Social Reform Party – profits from natural resources – the people.
The new governor's election in Primorsky Square will take place on December 16, the need for repeated elections arose after the cancellation of the election results in September. Then, after the second round, the actual acting governor, Andrei Tarasenko, and Deputy Regional Parliament, Andrei Ischenko, accused each other of violations of the law, the Regional Election Commission on September 20 recognized the election results to be valid. He became the only participant in the September campaign, which announced his participation in the re-election, but on Nov. 3, the Communist Party's regional committee refused to nominate him as the party's candidate.
