Dakar, April 26 (APS) – The Giraffe team is in Tunis where it is due to play the sixth and final game of Pool C in the African Football Confederation Cup (CAF), APS learned on Monday.
“The team is already there,” said Yusu Dial, Jarraf’s football manager, adding that a state team left Dakar overnight from Saturday to Sunday.
According to him, the ambition of the Senegalese representative, who has already been promoted to the quarterfinals of the CAF Cup, is to finish at the top of Group C.
“So that means a positive result for the opponent,” said the football manager of a country team.
With 10 points on the clock, Giraffe’s team leads the team and will on Wednesday oppose the Sportif Speksian club (nine points) also qualified for the quarterfinals.
In the first game at Lat Dior Stadium in Bethesda, both teams left with a score of evenness (1-1).
The two teams on the team, namely Attil Sportive du Sahel (five points) and FC Salitas (3 points) who were eliminated from the qualifying race in the quarter-finals, will also play on Wednesday.
