The Secretary General of the Ministry of Commerce, the consumer, the informal sector and small and medium-sized enterprises, Mechter, reported on the draft consumer protection law.

In addition to the objectives of transparency in the market, the effectiveness of the control and competitiveness of the products, this project is also intended to "close commercial activity, especially those related to mail, guarantee, post-sale service, and comparative advertising."

Mr. Lakh spoke at the celebration of International Consumer Day this year on the topic: "Products related to trust."

This meeting is organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Consumer Affairs, informal sector SMEs and the Regulatory Authority for Communications and Communications (ARTP) recorded the participation of the legislative state responsible for the protection of consumers, the private sector and consumer associations.

This new legal system, which lies within the administrative circle, will strengthen, among other things, the "right to need in the event of damage caused," said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Commerce, Consumption, the Informal Sector and small and medium-sized companies.

This bill, he said, also provides "the establishment of a national observatory of unfair conditions and renewal of the National Council on consumption around the High Council of Consumption."

Mr. Lakh believes, however, that this structure will be more "equipped" and better "contribute positively to the definition and improvement of consumer protection policy."
