Senegal's crude exports rose 16.55 billion CFF ($ 28.135 million) at the end of the first nine months of 2018 compared with the same period in 2017, APA reported. Thursday at the National Statistics and Demography Agency (ANSD).
These exports amounted to CHF 175.848 billion in the period reviewed compared to FCFA 159.298 billion at the end of September 2017, an increase of 10.4% (FCFA 1 equals $ 0.0017).
However, on an annualized basis, this exports fell sharply by 88.2%, from CFAF 16.79 billion in September 2017 to CFF 1.974 billion in September 2018.
Compared with August 2018, when they amounted to CFAF 1.535 billion, Senegal's crude exports held better with an increase of 28.5% relative value.
