The original "Verna" for the smallest details: "fiće" model which has no price (video)

As a matter of fact, maybe someone can remain indifferent when he sees the real "fic". But according to the models of this car – made by Dusan Jaksic – difficult.

This Smederevac himself says he did not make the most perfect replica of the popular "Flag 750".

Nevertheless, the time when it was created (the dreary nineties) and all the ways a high school student then dictated for completion, these Pitch models give a special stamp and no price to the creator.

"They also offered me the money for him, but I would not be separated from my own. Otherwise, I like the fic. I have a real," says Dusan.

When asked what is most difficult for him, he replies:

"Nothing was difficult for me, it was all interesting and challenging to find a way to do some of the time when there were not so many things available today.

I did every piece of work like a game. For example, how to create a cable? I take the PTT cable, pull out the copper, unpack the cable from the bike, fix the cable, draw through the cable insulation and get a cable with the busbar. There are many more examples. The design of this model continued from September 1992 to March 1994, but it is difficult to say exactly how many hours worked. I used to work all day, sometimes just one afternoon … "

Many are happy at first glance. However, only when they learn the whole story – at what time and in what conditions the model is done, with some will, enthusiasm and love cars, with some effort and commitment to detail, only then can one understand why this model is so special B92.

When you discover that in those young years Dusan was able to do details of a motorcycle and a cabin, which would really work authentic, you realize that it can not be realized without a lot of love cars.

"Otherwise, I did some models before it 's Peach, including Opel Olympia from 1957, Chevy Beler from 1957 (the decision was made after the movie Dirty dance where Patrick Chevy drives this car) and the Cadillac Eldorado from 1960. However, they are all made in 1:43 scale, and the fiesta is the ratio 1: 11 – can be said that technically the most advanced. "

"The body is independent – I first made the skeleton.Of basic profiles, the profile of the link of the front trap, the central profile, transversal back and back are made of sheet galvanized sheet of 0.5 mm. The front and back interior, as well as the bottom, are made of cardboard with a thickness of 1.0 mm, and then I set up the semicircle, the roof, the wings, the front …

I made external panels from ultrathin paper in five layers, glued to wood glue (the so-called paper mass technique). Each board is made separately. I did mold for their design using drawings of orthogonal projection, then made a cardboard skeleton, filled it with plaster and worked. The interior reinforcements of the door, side and roof panels are made of wood, while I used an aluminum sheet of 0.8 mm to strengthen the boot cover and engine cover. "

He insisted that the door and hood could be closed.

"The door hold a 0.3 mm thick sheet hinges and has a mechanism for opening / closing. So, to see the face, you have to pull the door handle and open the door as a real car. To open the front hood (trunk), you must pull the lever under the instrument panel, and the boot has a spare wheel, a fuel tank, and a brake fluid reservoir with the appropriate installation.

We get to the engine, which is also very interesting.

Engine compartment and motor block quilt, such as carburettor, fuel pump, water pump and exhaust pipe, cooling wheels, fan and carton, paper exhaust pipe with layers of PVC pipes with a diameter of 3 mm, The cooling system is made of molded plastic by hot mold process, fire distributor and wood … "

When he closes his last hood, Dusan goes on to explain how he brought in different details.

(0.3 mm), aluminum foil (0.3 mm), glass, cardboard, cardboard boxes, coated with aluminum foil and PVC plastic, decorative copper roses (0.5 mm) M), coated aluminum foil. Plastic disks are molded by a hot process in a mold and inside a tulip, there is a rubber stamp for the body. "

"The cabin – a leather roof roof, the seats have a copper structure coated with black hammer wallpaper, functional front seats – beyond the back, under black velvet – a copper wheel with integrated switch for transmissions and lights. The main switch for pixel lights, the cardboard information board with a speedometer, temperature indicators and the amount of fuel.

"Suspension is particularly interesting. The front is an independent, 100 percent functional spring leaf (spring) made of an elastic steel sheet (from coil to alarm) in three layers, joined by secured rivets with 1 mm screws for the chassis. Forgings and seals of galvanized sheet steel, Sheet metal, galvanized with copper wheels. Trap elements are connected by nuts and bolts of 1.5 mm, copper miners, the wheels move to the right and left, but the steering wheel is not functional, it could have been – the problem was too technical at the time, due to the lack of necessary materials and parts.

The last suspension is independent, 100 percent functional. A zinc-plated steel plate with copper shafts and coil springs 10 mm in diameter – connected by chassis bars and secured by soldering.Cartridges can be removed. The tires are a finished product, while the wheels and the wheel cover are made.

"At the end of 1993, there was a competition for car models for the SAT 100 show. I had another model of 1964, which was not detailed and precise, I sent it and hoped to reward. First, second and third to other jobs, to my disappointment, but then the surprise – I got a special award outside the competition because my model was much better, "recalls Dusan.

In March 1994 he was invited to a car show to present his model. However, he brought the new model, which was well received. He exhibited at the fair in the coming years.

He received the award from the factory "Zastava", where he was invited to look at the entire production process and visit its Institute for Development.

For the last time in 2003, he presented a model at the fair, opposite "Pizza" – a "national department" cashing in. That is, Dusan also has a real "fic", older than him for several years, where he went to many conferences, visited Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia …

They were invited to the fair as a society to mark the centenary of the appearance of the first car in Serbia.

Unfortunately, the "National Club" no longer exists. All the rest, however, other clubs of many fans and amateurs, such as Dusan Jaksic, thanks to which "fića" still alive.
