Small bodies break the surface.
In Bratislava. Meteorites bomb the moon every day. Most of them are not very large. Even small bodies can release water under the surface of our natural satellite.
This shows research in the journal Nature Geoscience.
Low amounts of water in the moon's atmosphere and surface.
For example, in 2013 and 2014, NASA's LADEE spacecraft is also measuring them.
The authors of the new study found that the measurements were consistent with 29 meteorological swarms.
Eight inches of lunar ground is completely dry. Below them the water stands at 0.05%. Underwater water still comes when the Moon comes from or shortly after.
Under the ground, water enters the surrounding area when a meteorite falls on the surface of the moon and spreads moisture. Therefore, the water appears in tiny amounts in the satellite's atmosphere.
This year the moon loses 200 tons of underground water – the same weight, for example, the adult whale, the largest animal.
