"Singleplayer-DLC is rarely recognized specifically"

Multiplayer games usually get high with new content of various types, while the more unusual of single titles focused on the story. We know, of course, that single player content is quite expensive to develop, but now it turns out that it also does not sell particularly well.

This news editor of Kotaku Jason Schreier, who has one of the best gaming contacts in the world, who through Twitter Writes that he has heard some developers over the years and explained that it is simply unpopular, so many extensions are released instead of separate titles:

"Something I've heard from quite a number of developers over the last few years is the story of a single player, DLC is not recognized very often, so we have seen the DLC for like Dishonored 2 and Uncharted 4 morph into independent games."

This, of course, is only one of the reasons why developers are increasingly doing multiplayer games, but why do you think that it is more popular than a single player?
