The repair action insisted immediate payment in cash – four passengers granted short-term "mini-loan".

The Polish airline Lot was AOG at the airport of Beijing, which can be repaired on site by a licensed engineering company. However, this was an immediate cash payment, which was undoubtedly a problem for the staff and the station manager. The solution is quickly found: According to Aerotelegraph.com four passengers extended the total cost of 320 euros.

The incident took place on November 12, 2018. The Boeing 787-8 was already ten hours late due to a hydraulic problem, and then the engineering firm unexpectedly insisted on cash. Both bank transfer and credit card payment were not accepted. To save the station manager ATM way, he borrowed about 320 euros in the name Lot in local currency. The money was returned to the four passengers in cash immediately after landing in Warsaw. Moreover, the airline apologized and placed free air vouchers.

It is worth noting, however, that according to the airline Aerotelegraph.com Lot allegedly denied the incident, but later confirmed it.
