Scientists warn against the common Quito diet

The Quito diet has been a great success in the world recently because it allows those who follow it to eat only fat and sugars. Despite its fruitful results, recent US research has revealed serious warnings.

Dietary diets, such as Quito and Atkins, may increase the chances of a fatal disease, "infection" or sepsis, according to the Daily Mail.

The condition of sepsis arises when the immune system releases chemicals in the bloodstream to fight the cause of the disease, but instead of healing the patient, it causes inflammation throughout the body.

The researchers found the results of their study by rats, which were divided into two groups dealing with two different types of diets, the first Western diet characterized by low fiber and an increase in fat and sugar, while the second diet is rich in fiber only.

They found that the first group of rats, based on a high-fat diet, suffered from chronic infections, stenosis and an increase in the death of its members, as opposed to the second group that underwent a normal diet.

The lead author of the study, Rock Napier, an assistant professor of biology at Portland State University, believes that the first group of rats suffered from blood poisoning resulting in rapid death that has something in their diet, not because of increased weight or the presence of bacteria in the gut.

"The diet of fats and sugars may control the human immune system through an unknown mechanism," the study says.

Professor Napier says:

"The immune system in mice in the Western diet, it works differently, appears to be manipulating the functions of immune cells, so they are more susceptible to septisemia, and when occurring is infected with rapid death.

The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, said the findings could warn hospitals to monitor the meals of their patients in intensive care rooms that are more susceptible to spatitis.

At least 46,000 people die each year in Britain from the disease, while a million Americans die each year, and 15 to 30 percent die from it.

The most common symptoms of "infection" or sepsis, confusion in speech or confusion, and trembling or severe muscle pain, and not to pee for a full day, breathing difficult to change the skin color.
