Shuttle bus users in Lancashire are affected by an increase in the fare.
From December 3, people who use disabled people to travel to Nouadar on buses throughout the county will have to pay twice as much for their travels.
The increase, which affects travelers only passengers before 9:30 pm Monday to Friday, will see the fare rise from 50 to 1 pound per trip.
"In another example of conservative cuts, NowCard has set a positive record for disabled travelers and will double to £ 1 just in time for Christmas with the increase in travel coming into force on Monday, December 3, 2018. "
Earlier this year, Blackburn with the Darwen Council launched a consultation offering to change its franchise card to a disabled ticket fare.
People who have disabled NoWCard are now paying a flat rate of 50p to travel on bus trips in the middle of the week before 9:30.
But after consultation, it was agreed the fee would rise to £ 1, bringing Blackburn with Darwon charges in line with the provincial council.
NoWCard owners are disabled and will continue to receive free travel between 9:30 and 11:00 on weekdays and all Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays as part of the national travel program.
The rise in travel prices will affect all NoWCard disabled users across all quarters in Lancashire.
