John Bluthal dies: The grave of Frankel Pickle of Dibble died at the age of 89


John Bluthal died at the age of 89.

The Superintendent of the Star, who played Frank Pickle in the sitcom of Don Franz, passed away on Thursday evening.

The sad news was confirmed by his agent, who said in a statement: "We are sad to announce that our wonderful client John Bluthel has passed away, our thoughts are with his family at this time.

"John has provided us with all the years of laughter and entertainment, we're going to miss Big Time."

Dawn also paid tribute, sharing a picture of John on Twitter.

John would be fondly remembered for his role as Frank, and for the endless, boring stories that his character told the other villagers.
