Observatory NetBlocks Internet, registered this Saturday, a siege of Instagram and Periscope, during a speech by the President in charge Juan Guaidó, from Place de la Chacaíto.
Unlike previous episodes of social media filtering, YouTube was only briefly affected, but then restored, and Google services were not affected.
The restriction took place around 12:45 am to 1:10 pm, when the swearing-in ceremony took place in the aid and freedom committees.
"The disruption to the service symbolizes the ongoing or cross-censorship of the Internet imposed by the state, which seems to be critical," the statement said.
