Miami Heat Dwyane Wade suffered a bruised right breast after a nasty fall during Heat's 113-98 loss to Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
Wade was injured at the end of the third quarter. The old man got into a difficult dispute, and contacted Pat Connaught in the middle, then rolled into the yard, unable to break the fall.
Wade stayed on the field, writhing in pain, before needing help from several teammates to get to his feet. The 37-year-old went immediately to the dressing room, but was able to go there under his strength.
Wade returned in the middle of the fourth quarter.
He decided to retire at the end of the season, and Wade was dubious for a Friday night game because of a bruised right elbow, but coach Eric Spolstra gave him the nod to play before the game.
Bucks goalkeeper Malcolm Brodon left the game earlier and did not return with the right heel pain.
